Photo Gallery: Fanfare Ciocârlia
The celebrated Romanian Gypsy band Fanfare Ciocârlia took the Schimmel Center this past weekend and, as you can see, they had everyone dancing. The hot, heavy and grooving set was a phenomenal welcome back from the band, who played their first NYC set in nearly a decade right on our stage. One set wasn’t enough for the band though, as they ran from the stage to our lobby, playing a handful of songs as the crowd swarmed and buckled with excitement.
