We at the Schimmel Center for the Arts are excited to be hosting Wassolou artist Fatoumata Diawara’s first solo New York City performance this Friday, September 28. It is hard not to be utterly mesmerized by Fatou’s voice and talent, and with her debut album being released in the U.S. just one month ago, it is the perfect time to see this performer.
